Permian Basin Habitat for Humanity has been dedicated to building homeownership affordability. We select our project locations with an eye toward balancing affordability with desirability for homebuyers and long-term growth potential.

Habitat Permian Basin brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Homeownership has been proven to transform lives—improving health, increasing children’s chances of academic success, and offering an opportunity to build wealth across generations. Likewise, homeownership enhances neighborhoods by bringing tangible investment, residents who are engaged for the long-term, and a sense of community.

Permian Basin Habitat for Humanity builds affordable homes in both Midland and Odessa, offering two thoughtfully designed floor plans with three and four bedroom options to meet the needs of local families. Because of the structure of our program and lot availability, home locations are assigned on a first come, first served basis once program participants complete 200 sweat equity hours. While participants may not choose their specific address, every home is built with the same quality, care, and commitment to long term success.
